The 40ft (12m) Standard Double Door Used Shipping Container from MERIDIAN CONTAINER DEPOT features fully operational cargo doors on both ends, creating a versatile dual-access tunnel layout. This configuration dramatically improves loading efficiency, enabling drive-through access for equipment or simultaneous loading/unloading from both ends without having to clear out front-stored items to reach the back. It is the perfect solution for commercial warehousing, dual-zone job-site tool cribs, or custom architectural container modifications.
Constructed from heavy-gauge corrugated Corten weathering steel, this container provides ultimate structural rigidity against harsh South African weather, high winds, and moisture.
Both sets of double cargo doors feature industrial-grade rubber gaskets for an airtight, watertight, and pest-proof seal, alongside heavy-duty locking bars and cams. The interior features flat, uniform 19-ply marine-grade plywood flooring supported by steel crossmembers, engineered to handle heavy machinery, forklift traffic, and dense inventory loads.

Delivery & On-Site Offloading
Delivery is provided nationwide using specialized crane trucks (Hiab vehicles) for direct site positioning and offloading. Site access must accommodate a heavy delivery vehicle with a minimum width clearance of 3.5 meters and an overhead clearance of 4.5 meters on flat, hard-standing ground.
