The 40ft Offshore Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) from MERIDIAN CONTAINER DEPOT is a high-capacity, industrial-grade marine transport enclosure certified to DNV 2.7-1, ISO 10855, and EN 12079 safety standards. Purpose-engineered for open-sea deployments, offshore drilling platforms, and extreme oceanic logistics, this unit is built to withstand severe dynamic structural loads and impact forces during ship-to-shore crane lifting cycles in rough sea states.
Constructed from premium, high-tensile Corten steel, the structural frame features primary load-bearing members qualified down to -20°C (-4°F) for material fracture toughness.
The container architecture incorporates heavy-duty double cargo doors fitted with deep-set marine-grade weather seals, secondary safety locking mechanisms, and anti-kickback handles to prevent accidental opening at sea. Integrated top pad eyes are engineered specifically to receive DNV-certified four-leg wire rope lifting slings. Inside, the interior features internal lashing points and reinforced steel plate or heavy-duty anti-slip structural timber planking designed to handle extreme machinery payloads and dynamic point loads.

Delivery & On-Site Offloading
Delivery is provided nationwide using specialized crane trucks (Hiab vehicles) for direct site positioning and offloading. Site access must accommodate a heavy delivery vehicle with a minimum width clearance of 3.5 meters and an overhead clearance of 4.5 meters on flat, hard-standing ground.
